Communications problems in Western Colorado

A problem with Qwest Communications service caused cell phone, Internet and 911 service problems in Western Colorado. Qwest did not know what caused the outage, which began around 8 a.m. and ended about 2:30 p.m. this Monday. Because of the Qwest outage, 911calls were being routed to Pitkin County’s dispatch center. This problem caused that some people had dropped calls and others’ service was completely out.

Qwest sells the use of its cell phone towers to several telecommunications providers and I think the problem is that these towers collapsed for the excessive system demand. These companies should repair all the damages caused to the people and to the authorities.
