Samsung Electronics has announced the expansion of its research and development (R&D) Centers in Poland, India and China. Currently operated R&D centers in China and India will increase engineers and related facilities while Telecom R&D organization is newly established in Warsaw, Poland. The R&D centers will start their projects within the next few months. New R&D organizations will focus on Software Engineering of mobile phones and customization of applications for its respective markets. Samsung's Telecommunication Network Business, which covers mobile phone and telecom infrastructure, currently operates five overseas R&D Centers in UK, USA, China, Israel, and India.
